📸🇸🇪 We went to the “Etnografiska museet” in Stockholm and got possessed!

The Exhibition of Yokai & Spirits of Japan is until November 22nd 2026.

Beginning with illustrations and visuals, I explored Yokai as they appeared on scrolls, woodblock prints, and various handcrafted items.

I enjoyed exploring contemporary anime, video games, and manga as well.

I read about how illustrator and writer Johan Egerkrans connects Japanese spirits with Swedish spirits from Norse mythology.

There was also an R15+ section where you could enjoy classic horror movies like “Ring” and “Ju-On” in an artistic way. I even had fun making my own horror videos!
