Let me introduce my favorite Bar from a trip last summer to Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest City, located about four hours by train from Stockholm!
We arrived in the middle of nowhere, about 20 minutes by tram from the City Center.
The Bar had a niceretro vibe, and the moment we stepped in, it felt incredibly cozy.
It’s the taproom of Gothenburg Brewery O/O, where they serve their own craft beers. You can enjoy a variety of styles, from crisp pilsners to elegant porters. They also have wine by the glass!
As usual, both Anders and I started by telling the staff our flavor preferences and asking for recommendations. In Sweden, you can try samples, so we got to do some tastings this time.
The food menu is Italian-style, and we tried the Pasta — and wow, we were amazed! It was simple but incredibly delicious and paired perfectly with the Beer.
There was a bottle on the shelf that really caught my eye! Oh, and by the way, the name “O/O Bar” comes from the initials of the brewery’s founders: Olof and Ole.
