Among the major supermarket chains in Sweden – ICA, Lidl, Coop, Hemköp and Willys – Our favorite is ICA! And within ICA, the store we love the most is ICA Kvantum Liljeholmen, which is right in our neighborhood.
And today, I’ll be introducing the bistro called ‘Bistro Liljeholmen’ inside this Supermarket.
Having a bistro inside a supermarket is a very rare and wonderful concept. We often stop by for a beer break while carrying around our shopping basket in the middle of grocery shopping. When we can’t decide what to cook for dinner, we first take a beer break and check out some recipes.
Here, you can enjoy special craft beers and wines that you can’t usually find at Systembolaget. Our favorites are IPAs and DIPAs, and that’s what we went for this time as well.
And you can also enjoy meals here! 👩🏻 I love the cheese and mushroom pizza from the bistro menu. (I was worried this dish might disappear with the renovation, but luckily it’s still there.)
👨🏻 Anders picks out whatever he likes from the deli section next to the bistro, puts it on a special plate, and settles down for lunch inside the bistro. The price is 18.99 SEK per 100g + 10 SEK!
That day, it was 96 SEK for beef and vegetables.

The special sign that used to be on the wall before the renovation has now been moved to the ceiling. Well, time to grab a basket and head off to do some grocery shopping for dinner today.
