🍞🥖 My favorite bakery in Stockholm – Lillebrors bageri. Outstanding bread and service, every single time.

Having visited many bakeries in Stockholm, I often find myself disappointed by a lack of passion. Sometimes the bread is delicious, but the service is cold or the staff are uninformed about the products. Other times, the service is good, but the bread is dry and hard.

However, Lillebrors bageri in Vasastan, in my opinion, deserves a 5-star rating for taste, service, and atmosphere. It’s a bakery that perfectly embodies my passion! My friends and the media praises it too, and I can recommend it with confidence!

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
The staff are cheerful and genuinely helpful, answering questions with care.
When I ask, “What should I try next?”, they always have something to recommend based on what I tried earlier and I love that.

Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
The warm, wood-toned interior feels welcoming the moment you step inside. Cozy, homey, and comforting.

Taste ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
No matter what you choose, it’s beautifully baked: aromatic crust on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The depth of flavor, the crisp crust, the perfect color, the aroma – it all comes together perfectly. Every time I take a bite, I’m reminded why this is my favorite.

Breads I’ve bought so far 👇

👆 Sourdough bread
This is what I always buy first at a new bakery. I believe it tells you the overall quality. The more you chew, the more the sourdough flavor spreads, and it pairs well with any meal.

👆 Sesame bread
Packed with nutty sesame aroma and richness. It’s perfect for an energizing start to the day.

👆 Baguette (French bread)
The deep, toasted aroma is incredible. Dip it in garlicky ajillo and you get umami synergy where the bread and oil elevate each other.

👆 Poppy seed bread
“Fluffy, moist, and perfectly studded with poppy seeds. The consistency here is remarkable.

👆 Porridge bread
Moist, hearty, and super filling. This one is Anders’s favorite.

👆 Sweet pastries
Everything is delicious. Not overly sweet, and I especially love the buttery flavor of their croissants.
They’re also famous for semla, and during the season the line can stretch outside – so be prepared!

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to stop by, but I still haven’t tried everything. I’ll keep coming back and sharing more in this post✨
