🥧🍺When I’m craving a proper pie and a creamy pint of Guinness, I head to The Old Brewer

In Stockholm, the Nordic city with a great food scene, there’s a British gastropub called The Old Brewer that serves one of my absolute favorite British pub dishes: Meat Pie!
I crave for it on a regular basis, so I had to share it with you!

The pub has two locations in Stockholm, making it an easy place to visit for either lunch or dinner depending on where you are in the city.

1. The Old Brewer – Hornstull

My favorite menu item here is the Pie of the Week – 250 SEK

The filling seems to change weekly, but it’s delicious every single time.
The flaky pastry and rich, meaty filling are so satisfying that whenever I think about it, I just want to go back.

Anders was in the mood for Fish and Chips this time, and that is also highly recommened!

And of course, another important reason to come here is the Guinness.
The creamy foam, typical of nitrogen draught beer, made Anders very satisfied too.

2. The Old Brewer – Vasastan

The other location is in the Vasastan area.

I ordered Pie again here, while Anders went for Bangers and Mash as another classic.

This information is accurate as of March 2026, so please double-check before visiting.

We’re both wearing Titta sweatshirts today, so I’m giving them a little shout-out here too!
The sweatshirt fabric in Japan is slightly different, as the Swedish version uses a different material.
