🇸🇪🍜 Craving Beef Ramen in Stockholm? Head to Ima Izakaya!

This has recently become one of my and Anders’ and my favorite lunches lately! Beef ramen is still pretty rare in Stockholm.

Ima Izakaya

The restaurant has large windows that fills the dining area with natural light. The owner has giving the place a touch of Japan with all the items he has collected. You’ll find kimono textiles and Japanese decorations here and there, and my personal favorite is the grilled fish, the Sanma, in the photo below!

Chef Tonny spent five years refining and perfecting the recipe for this bowl of ramen. The result is a rich and creamy beef broth paired with delicate thin noodles. It has a deep umami flavor, but at the same time it’s gentle and comforting. This is exactly the kind of ramen I want to enjoy during Stockholm’s cold autumn and winter season!

Anders’ favorite is the chicken ramen with the same creamy style of broth. He says he likes it because the flavor is a little bit stronger.

Both the beef and chicken ramen are rich and smooth. The broth is so easy to sip all the way to the last drop. Definitely worth a visit when you need something warm and soothing.
